Real Surf PH Quezon Experience + Guide (UPDATED 2017)

If you want to go off the grid with your barkada for a while, Real Surf is a great place to go to. It is a three-hour drive from Marcos Highway, passing through the provinces of Rizal and Laguna.

Contrary to its name, Real Surf is not just for surfers alone, given the activities you can do during your stay.

The resort is beautifully decorated 🙂 but look at the number of people during weekends. Better go there on weekdays to avoid too much people. This photo was taken on a holiday.

The famous (and I think most instagrammed signage)

You will be staying in a cabana (a small one is good for 6 pax) and/or have the option to pitch a tent. We rented out a small cabana during our stay.

It looks pretty nice, right? By the way, I suggest that you bring your own pillows and comforters/blankets for they do not provide those. Cabana rental for an overnight stay is Php 2,500, good for 6 people.

All cabanas come with one cushion, an electric fan, hammock, picnic table outside, a beach chair and 1 small tent pitching beside the cabana. You have to bring your own tent though. You need not to worry about charging your devices for each cabana has 2 available outlets.

A great thing about Real Surf is that the place does not have cellular signal for Globe. You can disconnect and get to really bond with friends. In our case, monopoly killed our free time!

You can bring your own food. They have grilling stations conveniently located near the cabanas. You can also bring drinks but they do have a corkage fee for local beers. Lazy to cook? Take a leisurely walk outside the resort and you will see vendors of freshly-caught seafood. Then you can avail the paluto service.

The resort has a mini store that sells beverages and some snacks too. This also serves as the front desk.

Their buko juice is just Php15!

Things to do:IMG_9834

Go beach bumming! It’s very easy to fall asleep in the cabana, I think I spent a few hours dozing off after lunch :))

Bond with your friends.

Thank you for coming with us Bambi! <3

DSCF5126Take a side trip to Balagbag Falls. You can rent a trike for 25/one way.

I want to Photoshop those two people and clone stamp them away but I’m lazy. :p

The falls is just a 3 minute trek from the main road. Entrance fee is 20/head.DSCF5180

Go stargazing. I feel bad that I did not bring my 16mm lens. and the worse thing is, I forgot to charge my camera 😐 The battery died after a few attempts and this is probably the best shot I got. But stargazing is still better if you watch it live.

Catch the sunrise.

I woke up at 5am for this 🙂

My friends and I definitely had a great time even if we did not swim! We will definitely come back soon. 🙂
